Collection: muth jars

Around 1880 Charles Muth owned a grocery store in Cincinnati Ohio. He designed and produced this beautiful square honey jar (becoming the first official commercial honey jar). It is embossed with a traditional honeybee skep and jar size. Sealed with a cork and hand dipped in our own Ambrosia Ridge beeswax. As a bonus we've added a charm around the neck of the jar that allows you to carry your love of honey, bees, and nature wherever you go!
